Zagreb Film Festival once again takes place in November, between the 11^th and 19^th November 2017 to be more precise on the usual city locations (cinemas Europa and Tuškanac, Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, F22 etc.). It will traditionally represent films by upcoming international and Croatian authors in its competition program.

The call for submissions for the Festival’s competition program is open; deadline is 21^st August for the International Competition, and 25^th September for films applying for the Checkers program. The competition program includes, as thus far, debut (first and second) feature and short films. Croatian authors can apply their films (up to 30 minutes duration) for the competition program Checkers, by 25^th September.
