Nikola decides to take matters in his own hands when they take away his children due to poverty and his wife has a breakdown. He discovers that the local services are probably corrupted, so he crosses Serbia on foot to present his case to the ministry in Belgrade. Along the way he meets different people and transforms from a loser to a hero of our age. The newest film by Srđan Golubović (Circles – ZFF 2013, Sundance – special jury award) won over the audience in the region and further afar, so he received an award at this year’s Berlinale and then in Pula, becoming the first film in the history of Pula Film Festival with an audience score of 5.00.
