In a small port town, fifteen-year-old Ferah is spending her summer vacation at her grandmother’s beach house. The grandmother indulges in watching dating shows on television, while the granddaughter craves her own sexual release. The pressure is palpable, desire doesn’t still, and the summer wind blows strong through every opening.

Irmak Karasu

Irmak Karasu is an artist and filmmaker from Turkey. She holds an MFA in Film, Video, and New Media from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is the recipient of a number of fellowships. Her practice explores haptic visualizations of the female psyche and body under pressure.
