Anna takes her dog for a morning walk before doing her shopping. While searching for discounted items, she receives a call from her agency. A film about the precarious work and life of a temp worker on the thin line between security and uncertainty. It premiered at Venice, and was nominated for the European Film Award.

Laura Carreira

Laura Carreira is a Portuguese filmmaker based in Scotland. She holds a degree in audiovisual communication from the António Arroio School of Arts in Lisbon and a BA in Film Directing from the University of Edinburgh. Her first film Red Hill (2018) was listed by Sight & Sound among the best seven films at the 2019 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival.
